Clare Balding features Brockley & Ladywell Cemeteries on BBC Radio 4’s Ramblings

We’re delighted to share that Brockley & Ladywell Cemeteries will feature on BBC Radio 4’s Ramblings, presented by Clare Balding, in a programme airing Thursday 12 February at 3pm.

In this episode, Clare goes for a walk through some of London’s treasured green spaces with Hana Sutch, founder of the walking app Go Jauntly. Their four-mile urban route takes in Brockley and Ladywell, including Brockley & Ladywell Cemeteries, highlighting the importance of accessible, peaceful green spaces in the heart of the city.

Ramblings is one of Radio 4’s longest-running programmes, celebrating walking as a way to explore landscapes, history and wellbeing. We’re thrilled that our cemeteries are included as part of this thoughtful wander through south-east London, showcasing them as places not only of remembrance, but also of nature, reflection and everyday enjoyment.

You can listen live on BBC Radio 4 at 3pm on Thursday 12 February 2026, or catch up afterwards via BBC Sounds:

We hope you’ll tune in — and perhaps be inspired to take a gentle jaunt through the cemeteries yourself.
